Circulating pumps are generally installed to filter your hot tub 24 hours a day or to circulate water through a heat exchanger off a hot water tank or boiler. Because circulation pumps are a lot smaller than jet pumps, they have a very low amperage draw and operate at a fraction of the cost.

Little Giant Recirculation Pumps

These Little Giant pumps have been specifically designed for hot water loops and solar heat recirculation. The CMD pumps are efficient brass booster pumps designed for hot water loops handling pressures up to 150 PSI. Both the 3B and 5B can be used in all types of domestic solar and hydronic recirculation applications for residences, apartments or commercial usage. The Little Giant CMD pumps have brass volutes and Ryton impellers with exclusive nylon magnet design that handle fluid temperatures up to 212 °F (100 °C). Pumps have 1/2" MNPT connections and the volute can be rotated at 90 degree intervals for easy installation. The design permits servicing of motor without losing liquids or draining the system.
