Hot tub ozonators and ozone partsDEL Corona Discharge Ozonators Install an ozone water purifier in your spa, use far less sanitizers, water clarifiers and defoamer chemicals, and have cleaner and clearer hot tub water. By reducing the use of bromine or chlorine by 60 - 90%, the water will be less abrasive to your skin and eyes, and will have much less of a "chemical odor". If you install one of our ozonators and you operate it at least 3 hours in every 12 hour period, you can keep your sanitizer level much lower than normal. If you are using Bromine, you can keep it as low as 1.5 ppm. Chlorine can be kept as low as 0.5 ppm. You will also find that you won't have to add nearly as much sanitizer to keep the reserve at the required level, because the ozone is doing most of the purifying. The advanced technology in corona discharge ozonators, made by Del Industries, do not contain an ultraviolet bulb that requires replacing. Instead, these ozonator are powered by an electronic chip that is more reliable than a light bulb and is less than half the cost! In addition, corona discharge ozonators save money because the chip uses less energy (no lamp, ballast, or starter) than an ultraviolet generator. These ozonators use solid state electronics to eliminate voltage spikes that can upset spa pack electronics or trip the G.F.C.I. Finally, water backup into the Spa Eclipse will not harm the unit. If you have to cut off the plug and hard wire the ozonator for your install, the 110 V Eclipse can be wired on both 110 V and 220 V spa packs. Ozone output on the SpaEclipse is 0.04 grams per hour. Our hot tub ozonators include ozone line and a check valve. They come standard with a 2-Prong Wall Plug (110 V only), J & J Mini Plug or an Amp Plug, as pictured below.
