Filters Cartridges (PuraSpa Disposable)

PuraSpa^® 1 micron disposable filters work faster and more efficiently, than any other spa filter on the market. Our disposable filters typically last 3 to 5 months depending on use.

PuraSpa^® 1 micron filters are made in the same USA plant, and made to the same standards as the previous Micropure brand disposable filters (they are identical). These are the only high quality 1 micron filters available today - beware of other brands that are made in Asia, get clogged up and don't last nearly as long.

There are many reasons to choose PuraSpa^® 1 micron disposable hot tub filters:

1. Filter faster and more efficiently than any other spa filter.
2. Quicker water recovery after heavy use, taking contaminants out of the water before they build-up and cause a decrease in sanitizers.
3. Eliminates the need for defoamers, clarifiers, cleaners and descummers.
4. Chemicals last longer with less contaminants in the water.
5. Removes solids in water and lowers the TDS on a constant basis, extending the time between water changes.
6. Filters out minerals, stopping buildup on your equipment and heater, extending the life of your equipment.
7. No filter cleaning - simply replace after 3 to 5 months.
8. Lower density at the surface of the filter with progressively higher density towards the center. This allows particles to be trapped throughout the entire cross section of the filter, creating superior dirt-holding capacity.

The effectiveness of filtration is based on 2 standards; Micron Rating (the size of particles that can be filtered) and Efficiency (the percentage of particles above a certain size that are caught by the filter). PuraSpa disposable filters have a significantly better rating in both micron and efficiency.

• Micron Rating: The smaller the number, the smaller the particles that will get filtered out.
• The micron rating and efficiency of a pleated filter will decrease further after the first cleaning.
• Micron filters will filter out significantly more weight of debris before becoming saturated.

We recommend using a carbon block pre-filter, to filter your water as it enters your hot tub.
